**Shift** : Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm - 40 hours a week

Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park, formerly Shawnee Mission Health – Overland Park, provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, an advanced imaging center, physical therapy and more.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Perinatal Sonographer performs a variety of diagnostic medical sonography procedures providing high quality exams for interpretation by a Radiologist. Sets up and assists in invasive procedures when ultrasound is used as a guidance tool. Performs all tasks necessary to provide quality patient care.

+ **·** **Perform ultrasound exams during all stages of pregnancy.** **·** **Provide comprehensive care and coordinate with other disciplines and ancillary departments as needed.** **·** **Maintain knowledge of current testing requirements and guidelines.** **·** **Provide patient education regarding prenatal testing and procedures.** **·** **Inform patients of anticipated wait times for test results.**

Qualifications

+ **What will you need?**

+ 1 Year of Position-Related Experience

+ ARDMS-OB

+ Nuchal translucency required within 6 months of date of hire

+ BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
