Stevenson Consulting is a full-service engineering consulting firm operating in the Mid-Atlantic and Gulf Coast region of the US since 1984. Our continually expanding client base gives us an opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects in various industries.  We are seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:

+ Supporting the operational management of a branch office

+ Development and implementation of the construction quality control program

+ Assisting with business development activities, including estimating and proposal preparation

+ Effective client maintenance

+ Project management

+ Enforcement of company operating procedures and policies

+ Subconsultant management

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields

+ Over 10 years of progressive experience in construction industry, including knowledge of and experience with materials testing & inspections

+ Demonstrated experience leading teams to meet organizational and departmental goals

+ Experience with geotechnical services preferred

+ Highly organized, ethical, and self-motived individual with strong problem-solving ability

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Local candidates with knowledge of Mid-Atlantic business and industry practices preferred

+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
