A **Workday Grants Consultant** typically works with organizations to implement, optimize, and support Workday’s Grants Management module. This role is often found within consulting firms, implementation partners, or as an in-house consultant at organizations using Workday.

Job Description: Workday Grants Consultant

Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated **Workday Grants Consultant** to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing and configuring the Workday Grants Management module, along with a deep understanding of financial systems and grants management processes. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead or assist in the implementation of Workday Grants Management, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and deployment.

+ Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, financial workflows, and grants management lifecycle.

+ Provide expert guidance on Workday capabilities and best practices.

+ Develop and execute detailed project plans and timelines.

+ Configure Workday Grants Management to align with client needs, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

+ Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users and stakeholders.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues during and after implementation.

+ Support post-go-live operations and provide ongoing system enhancements.

+ Document business requirements, functional specifications, and user guides.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

+ 3+ years of experience with Workday Financials, specifically Workday Grants Management.

+ Strong understanding of grants management lifecycle, fund management, and financial reporting.

+ Experience with Workday implementation projects or as a Workday functional consultant.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

+ Workday certification in Financials or Grants Management (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or research institutions.

+ Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
