    Position Description

    Work at the direction of the terminal manager to ensure compliance with all internal and external rules and regulations.Promote KinderMorgan SQE culuture and the development of employees while continuing to ensure operational excellance.

    Position Requirements

    Advise terminal management of progress toward objectives and develop strategies for necessary adjustments.  Ensure departmental production objectives are achieved and consistent with EHS, customer requirements and quality standards.  Develop, instruct, motivate and discipline the workforce in compliance with KM standards.  Recognize and promote ideas that provide safer, more efficient and cost effective operations.  Effectively interface with customer representatives, regulators, KM staff and others as required.  Assist and ensure terminal compliance with reglatory agencies  Issue and ensure compliance with work permits and site specific safetey procedures  Ensure interal and external audit rediness in opertional areas  Monitor and impliment training ciriculum, changes tocorporate policies and procedures  Implement and support SQE (Safetey, Quality and enviromental) iniatives and directives  Organize and document terminal inspections  Conduct monthly safetey committee meetings  Maintain terminal records and documents  Develop and adjust terminal site specific procedures and ensure proper implimentaiton  Work at the direction of the terminal manager  Other functions as trained and assigned.

     

    Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communications to a diverse workforce.  Must demonstrate a familarity of the products, modes of transport, and methods of handling dry bulk materials.  Ability to accept direction and work effectively & cooperatively with other people  Proficient in the use of computers and applications(Microsoft office, database, and internet search engines)  Must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point application  Ability to take initiative, exhibit self-direction and work with co-workers to accomplish defined goals in a fast paced, challenging environment

     

    Must be able to work with a team, give direction  Must be proficiant with in the use of computers and applications ( microsoft office, database and internet search engines)  Must be proficient in Microsoft Power Point application  Job location is in the Philedelphia PA area  Requires work in all types of weather conditions  Must be available to work all shifts and weekends  Minimal overnight travel.  Availability and periodic response to emergency situations on a 24/7 basis.
