The individual selected for this position will be a self-starter with an appetite to learn. This position supports the Printed Wiring Board and Substrate category manager in management of their suppliers. This is a critical position in ensuring solid supplier relationships are developed and maintained, quality and on time delivery metrics are maintained and communication is seamless. An understanding of PWB manufacturing is extremely helpful in support of this role.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Experience with Part / Process Risk Mitigation
Six Sigma or Lean experience is a plus
An understanding of Manufacturing technologies.
An understanding of product performance with regards to measurement and tolerance as well as materials and material compatibilities.
Ability to plan and drive initiatives through to completion.
Experience re-designing or re-engineering for ease of manufacturing and cost take out
Knowledge in lean manufacturing techniques such as; value stream mapping, kaizen, Kanban, supplier managed inventories, 5S, cycle times, single piece manufacturing flow and six sigma
Proven teamwork and leadership skills; able to work in a borderless organization and across multiple functions including ,programs, engineering, purchasing and suppliers
The ability to prioritize day to day problems and occurrences
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Creativity and ability to think outside of the box
Strong written/verbal communication skills
MS Word and Excel proficiency
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 2 years work experience
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
