    Description

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for oversight of agency Open Access Programing, including direct supervision of Intake Team, to ensure effective clinical response, crisis response, assessment, and referrals.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Provides leadership, training and direct supervision of intake clinicians, intake coordinators, and intake case manager to ensure Certified Community Behavioral Health Center guidelines are met.

    • Ensures team has knowledge and support to provide appropriate screening and response to consumers and community partners seeking services.

    • Participates in collaborative efforts to reduce barriers of access to services.

    • Ensures open access team is providing comprehensive clinical and resource assessments for all consumers via face-to-face or telehealth as appropriate.

    • Provides assessment training for agency staff as needed.

    • Reviews clinical documentation and complete periodic chart auditing to ensure quality and timeliness of documentation and billable expectations according to agency policy.

    • Identify needs, develops agenda, and leads Assessment Team meetings.

    • Assists Interpreter Services and Uber Health scheduling as needed.

    • Assists scheduling emergent and urgent appointments as needed.

    • Creates and maintains AVATAR clinician schedules and consumer alerts.

    • Responsible for collecting and maintaining Open Access Services data collection.

    • Assists the Director of Access and Crisis Services in identification of service gaps and steps to address service needs.

    • Provides crisis back up including screening, assessment and referral, crisis face-to-face or phone calls as needed.

    • Maintains required training and certifications.

    • Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

    Education/Certifications:

    • Master’s Degree required

    • Clinical Licensure (LCSW preferred, LPC acceptable) required

    • CPR/First Aid Certification

    Experience Required:

    • 2-3 years of position-related experience required.

    Required Knowledge:

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

    • Prior mental health and/or substance use knowledge required.

    • Strong knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral health.

    • Prior healthcare technology software experience preferred.

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present healthcare information in an understandable manner to both individuals and groups as needed.

    • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

    • Strong clinical assessment skills, terminology, diagnoses, and best practice knowledge required.

    • The ability to develop various presentations, trainings and programs on various clinical topics
