Are you thinking about advancing your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Detroit is looking for a new Sea Logistics Implementation Manager to join our Sea Logistics team.

Your Role

In this role within Sea Logistics, the Implementation Manager will be responsible for the receipt, validation, and management of all customers technical project requests across the Eastern Hemisphere countries. Additionally, the Implementation Manager will ensure country adherence to guidelines for customer data integration projects.

Your Responsibilities

+ Support the Hemisphere strategy, improving our approach, and building a strong implementation community.

+ Align with key stakeholders to ensure new implementation deliverables and requirements are captured and executed within the hemisphere.

+ Maintain a detailed overview on all open projects, key issues, and work with executive sponsors to clear roadblocks.

+ Validate all demand requests for feasibility and practicality according to the Sea Logistics guidelines.

+ Gain buy-in and approval from BU leadership depending on the investment & scope of work.

+ Assign the project and support the respective country implementation team on execution.

+ Monitor and report on project status to hemisphere leadership.

+ Responsible to analyze if the investments in integration projects align with anticipated volumes and achieve the expected reduction in manual effort (ROI).

Your Skills and Experiences

+ 4+ years of experience in Sea Logistics / International Supply Chain

+ 4+ years of Project management skills

+ Understanding of data integration, EDI concepts, implementation, order management, and Sea Logistics operations

+ Consultative and presentation skills

+ Technical and business analytical skills

+ Depth of experience and expertise in sea logistics as well as forwarding/carrier operational systems experience are highly desired
