    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform class III hand soldering, including the preparation of wire, soldering components to printed circuit boards (PCBs), and assembling subcomponents.

    + Follow detailed written work instructions, process sheets, and blueprints to ensure high-quality production.

    + Operate basic hand tools, scopes, and special soldering equipment for assembly and cleaning.

    + Measure and record product data, following all Electronic Static Discharge (ESD) procedures.

    + Troubleshoot and correct issues, ensuring safety and continuous improvement.

    + Assist coworkers to meet team goals and contribute to team success.

    + Participate in training and mentoring other employees.

    + Maintain clean, organized workspaces, and ensure proper handling of materials and tools.

    Required Qualifications:

    + High School diploma or equivalent.

    + IPC-610 & J-STD certification is desired; must pass J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification within the role.

    + Experience with microscope soldering, especially in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to read and follow written instructions, blueprints, and schematics.

    + Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and work in a seated position for soldering.

    + Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work with and around chemicals in a safe manner.

    + Must pass a visual acuity test (20/20 vision, with or without glasses) and a color vision exam.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience with SMT, Through-Hole, or Flex products.

    + Prior training or certification in safety and quality standards (e.g., ESD procedures, ISO certifications).

    + Familiarity with IPC standards and other quality control processes

    Visual exams are required pre-hire and bi-annual to confirm visual acuity of 20/20 with or without glasses along with passing a standard color vision exam. Must be able to perform job functions while using a scope. Job duties require working with and around chemicals.

     

    This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

     

    **Pay Details:** $23.00 to $24.00 per hour
