Our client, a leader in the heavy equipment industry, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Heavy Equipment Mechanic

**Location:** Mount Vernon, IL

**Pay Range:** $22 - $27 per hour

What's the Job?

+ Perform tear-down, repair, and reassembly of mining and earth-moving equipment.

+ Work on forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to ensure operational efficiency.

+ Utilize knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

+ Maintain and repair equipment to meet safety and performance standards.

+ Potential for overtime, including Saturdays, to support project needs.

What's Needed?

+ Experience working on mining and earth-moving equipment.

+ Knowledge of hydraulic systems and schematics.

+ Must possess own hand tools.

+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

+ Willingness to undergo a drug screen (does not test for THC; oral screen acceptable).
