    Job Description:

    The position offers great opportunities to work in a high-quality academic environment at the University of Texas at Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center. The joint Biomedical Engineering Program and Joint Biomedical Engineering Building between UT Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center offer unique research and training opportunities.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Less than 1 year of experience in research and development environment.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    + The candidate should have a bachelor, master’s, or PhD degree in electrical and computer engineering, biomedical engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or other related fields.

    + The candidates who have experience in electronic system design (e.g., PCB design, integrated circuit design, packaging, and fabrication) or algorithm development will be preferred.

    + Knowledge of biomedical imaging and its biological and medical applications is preferred for this position.

    + This position requires research initiatives and independent problem-solving skills.

    + Excellent judgment and communication skills are required for identifying and executing troubleshooting efforts for lab research activities and interactions with other units of the university and outside entities.
