    In this vital role, Quality Management Nurse will be part of a small team dedicated to supporting the many different Riverside programs with the goal of continuously improving quality across every Riverside division, for all persons served.

    The Quality Management Nurse will:

    + audit the medical records of our individuals living with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and/or Acquired Brain Injuries

    + provide guidance on medical issues to program directors and nurses working in the field

    + ensure regular review of health, safety, and infection control policies

    + assist in investigations involving medical issues

    + provide Medication Administration Program policy support to managers of MAP certified programs

    + provide medical protocol trainings to new employees if needed

    + fill the role of Riverside schools nurse

     

    Schedule: Part Time 20 hours per week - flexible hybrid schedule; must be available for weekly Tuesday QM team meeting

    Required Skills

    + Ability to offer guidance to nurses and other employees on Medication Administration Program (MAP) policy

    + High-level verbal and written communication skills

    + Basic computer fluency, including Microsoft Office

    + Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle

    Required Experience

    + Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing

    + Licensure as a Registered Nurse required; must be in good standing with the Board of Registration of Nursing

    + Three to five years of nursing experience

    + Experience with training

    + Completion of the MDPH approved MAP Train the Trainer program
