    Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Capacity Planning Engineer to join their team. As a Capacity Planning Engineer, you will be part of the IT Capacity Management department supporting various application program services teams.

     

    **Location:** Open to any locations below on a hybrid schedule:

    + San Francisco, California

    + New York City, New York

    + Boston, Massachusetts

    + Chicago, Illinois

    + Jersey City, New Jersey

    + Pennington, New Jersey

    + Addison, Texas

    + Dallas, Texas

    + Denver, Colorado

    + Atlanta Plaza, Georgia

    + Plano, Texas

    + Richmond, Virginia

    + Kennesaw, Georgia

    + Charlotte, North Carolina

    + Newark, Delaware

    + Jacksonville, Florida

    + Chandler, Arizona

    **Schedule:** 3x on site, 2 WFH per week

    **Type:** Contract

    **Duration:** 12 mons, opt to extend

    **Rate:** Based on experience

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Participate in multiple projects focusing on performance and capacity management.

    + Engage in Risk and Regulatory Management and Information Security Management.

    + Review technical project documentation to identify performance and capacity impacts.

    + Provide forecasts and models for performance and capacity of impacted components.

    + Analyze saturation test results and artifacts to measure and interpret capacity thresholds.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Capacity Management with Midrange systems.

    + Knowledge of capacity planning methodologies and ITIL capacity management best practices.

    + Experience with mathematical/statistical and quantitative analytics.

    + Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira/Confluence.

    + Proficiency in performance measurement tools like AppDynamics, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
