Description

Robert Half is looking for a Litigation Attorney to join a national law firm in Chicago, Illinois. This Attorney will play a pivotal role in the litigation department, focusing primarily on product liability, premises, and mass tort defense.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal and factual research to support case preparation.

• Collaborate closely with national counsel teams on various legal cases.

• Engage in detailed trial preparation, including strategy discussions, discovery, records review, client interviews, and witness preparation.

• Draft comprehensive legal documents such as briefs, memos, and client updates.

• Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.

• Show an ability to handle multiple projects with competing demands while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Display a client-focused mentality and take initiative in challenging situations.

• Stay updated with litigation trends and recent legal opinions to maintain intellectual curiosity.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience as an Attorney.

• Experience in Defense Litigation.

• Must be skilled in Trial Preparation.

• Familiarity with Asbestos Litigation

• Must be a Licensed Attorney.
