The Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) program is now hiring a TSS Worker!!
This mobile role serves children birth to 6 years of age who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Responsibilities in this role include providing 1:1 treatment and treatment planning, documenting progress notes, and building rapport with patients, visitors, teachers, parents, and external agencies. This role is a mobile role; therefore, you will be required to travel to community locations (preschools, daycares, homes, etc) to provide therapy sessions. Each day will consist of 2, three-hour therapy sessions. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position. The ideal hire for this position will have ABA experience but not required.
Responsibilities:
• **Collaboration:** Work with multidisciplinary teams and participate in inter-agency meetings.
• **Direct Services:** Provide mental health services to children and adolescents in crisis to prevent hospitalization or restrictive placements.
• **Communication:** Inform supervisors of any significant changes in client functioning.
• **Parental Support:** Help parents implement behavioral programs.
• **Crisis Intervention:** Offer crisis intervention, behavioral reinforcements, emotional support, and other prescribed activities.
• **Training:** Attend staff development training.
• **Family Support:** Assist families in stabilizing and promoting appropriate behavior in children.
• **Treatment Plan:** Follow individualized treatment plans.
• **1:1 Interventions:** Provide one-on-one interventions in various settings to prevent the need for more restrictive environments.
• **Meetings:** Attend all mandatory treatment team meetings.
• **Teacher Assistance:** Help teachers implement behavioral programs.
• **Confidentiality:** Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate respectful behavior.
• **Record Keeping:** Keep accurate records of patient contacts and report to supervisors and the treatment team.
• Bachelors Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, education, criminal justice, or similar human service field required with one year of experience in a Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) preferred;
OR
• Bachelors Degree in any other field, with at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents;
OR
• Masters Degree in applied behavior analysis, education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field. If Masters is in an unrelated field, Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Autism Specialization, Early Intervention (EI), Child Development, Developmental or Behavioral Psychology is required;
OR
• Licensed registered nurses, with at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents;
OR
• Associate's Degree, or sixty credits toward a Bachelor's Degree, with at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents;
OR
• Licensed practical nurses, with at least three years of full-time paid work experience in a job that involved direct contact with children or adolescents
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
CCM training is required within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
• Driver's License
• Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting
• Act 33 with renewal
• Act 34 with renewal
• Act 73 FBI Clearance
