    Job Description

    Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations.     Required Education, Experience, & Skills

     

    High School Diploma orRelevant Associate s degree and additional 6 years experience; or relevant Bachelor s degree or equivalent and additional 4 years experience in the mechanical / electrical / electronic field of line of business products or other relevant military products.

     

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

     

    BAE Systems is looking for a Field Service Representative to operate, troubleshoot and repair combat vehicles and perform modification work on Bradley vehicles and Bradley derivatives. In this role, you will interface with the customer and user, the government, the military, and internal company organizations to effectively communicate necessary information / data while presenting a positive image of yourself and company s products and services.

     

    + Knowledge of military maintenance systems (all levels of repair).

    + Knowledge of appropriate technical manuals and engineering data.

    + Must be able to interpret and use all types of engineering drawings and schematics.

    + Detail understanding of system troubleshooting techniques.

    + Ability to work within contract and budget restraints and scope of work.

    + Technical ability to influence design changes.

     

    Understanding of MWO S, Modified Work Orders.

     

    + Must possess basic computer skills

    + Must possess the ability to read schematics and drawings

    + Must have experience with Bradley and Bradley derivative modifications

    + A minimum of 10 years facility maintenance experience

    + Must have strong communication and good interpersonal skills

    + Must be physically capable of performing essential functions of the position

    + Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and to climb stairs and ladders

     

    Must be able to carry personal tool bag weighing anywhere from 20-30 lbs

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $60961 - $97538

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
