YOUR LIFE AS A SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR

As a Summer Camp Counselor, you start each day by greeting members and their children and welcoming them to camp. Whether they are 3 years old or 12, you know how to plan and lead engaging activities for the kids you work with. These activities include storytelling, organized arts and crafts, games, swimming, and other indoor and outdoor activities. In addition to creating a fun, safe, and healthy environment, you provide food service for the kids. Your ability to connect with the children, their parents, and your coworkers is essential to your success!

REQUIREMENTS

+ High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred)

+ At least 6 months as a previous camp counselor OR 1 year of experience in a similar childcare environment

+ CPR/AED/FIRST AID Certification (adult, child, and infant)

+ Know how to swim.
