Position: IT Support Engineer
Reports to: Director – Corporate IT
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Engineer to join our team. The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving our company’s IT infrastructure, troubleshooting computer issues for internal employees, and implementing new IT solutions to optimize our internal operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing network infrastructure and familiar with the latest IT standards and trends and be able to use these skills to help the organization operate efficiently and securely.

Key Responsibilities
+ Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to internal teams and users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
+ System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
+ Installation and Configuration: Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
+ Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including repairing or replacing parts as necessary.
+ User Management: Set up accounts for new users and manage existing accounts.
+ Security: Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
+ Documentation: Maintain records of software licenses, hardware inventory, and IT-related issues
What We’re Looking For
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Experience: Proven work experience as a technical support engineer or similar role.
+ Technical Expertise: Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.
+ Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
+ Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with users and team members.
+ Attention to Detail: Precision in maintaining and configuring IT systems.
+ Up-to-Date Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest IT standards and trends
+ Familiarity with network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches, servers, and telephony systems.
+ Ability to conduct regular system audits and implement security measures.

+ Ability to spend extended periods of time at a computer workstation or on the phone assisting users.
