    A Day in the Life of a Speech Language Pathologist:

     

    As a Speech Language Pathologist ( SLP ) at The Arc Wayne in Newark, NY you will be an integral part in providing Clinical Consultation and Speech Therapy Services for the Article 16 Clinic in Orleans/Genesee County.

     

    + Completing timely and accurate service documentation

    + Provide speech therapy services

    + Recommend speech communication devices and other related technology

    + Notifies supervisor and caregiver of any significant events pr incidents that occur during therapy

    + Interact and support Speech Therapy students completing internships

    + Provide clinical consultation to Agency programs

    + Maintain confidentiality

    + Ensures that conduct is professional and consistant with the Agency's culture, mission, values, procedures and policies

    Who We Are Looking For:

    You have effective time management and organizations skills to meet deadlines. You're responsible and looking to make a difference in your community.

     

    You have a New York State ( NYS ) Speech Language Pathologist License and a current, valid New York State Driver License.

     

    Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm
