    Position Description:** **Patient Care Leader - RN

    **BayCare Health System** is currently seeking a **Registered Nurse** to join our outstanding and compassionate **Med/Surg** team at **St. Joseph’s Hospital** as a **Patient Care Leader** .     The Patient Care Leader responsibilities include:

    + Leading the practice of nursing and manages care on the patient care unit.

    + RN is proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.

    + Providing 24/7 accountability care for assigned patients.

    + BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required

    + RN (Registered Nurse) license is required

    + ACLS Certification, if required by department

    + Nurse Specialty certification is preferred **Education:**

    + Bachelors degree in Nursing is required **Experience:**

    + 2 years of RN experience in acute care is required. **Specific Skills:**

    + Interpersonal skills

    + Clinical skills appropriate to position

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: Yes

     

    Shift Hours:** **8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

     

    Shift:** **Shift 1

     

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

     

    Weekend Work:** **None

    On Call:** **No
