Overnight Emergency Veterinary Technician

About the role: We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker, thrives under pressure, and has experience in emergency care.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Triage and Assess: Prioritize incoming patients and assess their condition.

+ Emergency Care: Provide treatments, assist with CPR, wound care, fluids, and surgery prep.

+ Diagnostics: Perform bloodwork, urinalysis, imaging, and other essential tests.

+ Patient Monitoring: Track vitals, document changes, and respond to needs promptly.

+ Medication & Anesthesia: Administer medications, assist with anesthesia, and ensure safe recovery.

+ Client Communication: Update pet owners and provide clear discharge instructions.

+ Maintain Supplies & Records: Stock equipment, maintain cleanliness, and document care.

Qualifications:

+ Certification: RVT preferred

+ Experience: 1-2 years in veterinary or emergency care

Schedule:

+ Overnights, Thursday – Saturday

+ Full-Time

Compensation:

+ Pay Range: $26 - $32/hr.
