HSB Solomon Associates LLC, a subsidiary of Hartford Steam Boiler and MunichRe, is seeking candidates for a Marketing Intern to work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. Solomon is the leading benchmarking and performance improvement company for the global energy industry, serving clients in nearly 80 countries, with global headquarters in Dallas. Through benchmarking studies, Solomon provides data-driven, strategic insight across the energy industry, leading to greater efficiency, reliability, and profitability.

Basic Function

In this role, the qualified individual will focus on the following projects:

+ Content refresh on Solomon Website

+ Update verbiage for SEO purposes

+ Layout and content changes

+ Nurturing website campaigns

+ Content

+ Write new case histories (involves interviewing and reading reports)

+ Write new blog articles from existing collateral

+ Develop and implement marketing subscription email strategies for current campaigns

+ Assist in new collateral processes

+ Reformatting Solomon’s study marketing templates with sequential review process.

+ Role could progress to working with multiple business units, including content and creation of LinkedIn ® posts, Bing ® and Google ® ads and other content needs.

Qualifications

Required:

+ 2 plus years towards a degree journalism, business, marketing, advertising, public relations, STEM or has an interest in sales and marketing activities.Driver, research mindset, personable, professional, and proactive approach with a team player mindset. Content specific education must include:

+ Writing with a technical oil and gas domain focus

+ Experience with LinkedIn, Google, and Bing ads

+ Design and building of landing pages

+ Intermediate Microsoft ® skills

+ Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
