Your role and responsibilities
Electrical/Computer Engineer in Tape Storage R&D. The individual will be expected to design, analyze, test, and resolve problems in tape drive servo control code and motor driver circuitry as an integral part of the IBM tape development team. The individual would also be responsible for providing technical support for IBM tape manufacturing and IBM tape clients.
This position is located in Tucson, AZ
Required technical and professional expertise
Feedback / classical control systems. Circuit design and analysis. Computer programming, C++ preferred. Time and frequency domain signal analysis. Software and engineering analytical tools such as Matlab. Must be able to work in a laboratory environment.

Non-linear control systems (ex. MIMO)
