• Maintenance Technician

    Maloney Properties, Inc. (Barre, VT)


    We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our residential community in Barre, VT. The property consists of 120 units of family housing. You will join our team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:

     

    • Participating in completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and groundskeeping.

    • Utilizing the Yardi mobile app and keeping close communication with the superintendent and other staff.

    • Making weekly pick-ups from local vendors for the resident food pantry.

    • Participating in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.

     

    The work hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30. Summer hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00-4:30 and Friday 8:30-2:30.

     

    We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.

     

    • Knowledge of general apartment repair and some experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, custodial, and HVAC work is required.

    • Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is preferred.

    • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
