We are seeking a motivated Engineering Intern to join our team, focusing on continuous improvement activities within our manufacturing environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to process optimization, efficiency enhancement, and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in engineering principles and a passion for problem-solving.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

+ Work with engineers to analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement using the Vontier Business System (VBS), which is grounded in the Japanese concept of Kaizen, or continuous improvement.

+ Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, including value stream mapping and waste reduction exercises.

+ Gather and analyze data related to production metrics, quality control, and operational efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

+ Enrolled in a BS IE or BSME program with a GPA of 3.0 or above.

+ Experience with Microsoft Office products.

+ Good continuous improvement process mindset

+ Curiosity, a team-oriented attitude, and a willingness to learn how things work.

+ Self-motivation and good electromechanical aptitude.
