Overview

We are looking for a **Nurse Practitioner Preceptor - AIM (Advanced Illness Management) Program** . This position will directly report to the VP of Palliative Clinical and is responsible for providing high quality interactions and training with newly hired or tenured NPs during palliative care/AIM visits across the Palliative division. **The coverage area would be Pennsylvania - candidate must live and be licensed in PA.** **Remote/Travel.**

+ Facilitates the learning experience to allow preceptees to perform competently in their required responsibilities. This is achieved through mentoring, coaching, and role modeling correct behaviors.

+ Performs patient home visits as needed

+ Orients new or trains tenured NPs (preceptees) which includes palliative clinical policies and procedures, documentation, value-based required patient outcomes, technology, and compliance and regulatory requirements.

+ Performs ongoing metric monitoring to provide ongoing coaching and feedback directly or indirectly with preceptees.

About You

+ Advanced Practice Practitioner required

+ **Unencumbered NP and RN license in Pennsylvania - must live and be licensed in PA**

+ Active DEA license

+ Current CPR certification

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting

+ Experienced in part B documentation requirements
