Position Overview

As a Truck - Trailer Washer, you will be responsible for maintaining the fleet and keeping the trucks and/or trailers clean and orderly. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining the cleanliness of the work area.

Job Description

Work Sundays & Mondays 6:00 am-4:30 pm and other days when needed

Must be at least 18 years old

Must have valid Driver's License; CDL preferred

Must have knowledge of computers and have prior computer experience

Pay $18.00/hr, with CDL class A $20.50/hr

Description

+ Wash, clean, and sanitize interior and exterior of trucks and/or trailers.

+ Fuel trucks.

+ Performance basic maintenance such as checking tire pressure and fluids.

+ Safely operate and maneuver trucks and/or trailers in the yard.

+ Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping, and removing debris from work area.

+ Other duties as assigned by a Manager and/or Supervisor

+ Notify manager of any potential unsafe equipment, conditions, or mechanical issues.

Environment

+ Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

+ Hanger : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

+ Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)

Skills

+ Specialized Knowledge : Ability to operate and maneuver trucks and trailers in the yard. Compliance with all company policies and procedures; Ability to read, write and speak proficiently; Ability to understand and follow instructions.

+ Special Skills : Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely. Show reliability; Produce quality work. Ability to maintain required productivity and /work expectations

+ Physical abilities: : Safely operate trucks and trailers. Safely move in and out of a truck cab. Use full body to move around the truck to clean/ wash trucks and trailers. Occasionally climbing up to 4 feet. Occasionally smelling, crawling, kneeling, and talking. Occasionally, feeling, fingering, gripping and carrying up to 60 Lbs. Frequently lifting up to 60 Lbs. Continuously stooping, pivoting and reaching (level: Waist, overhead, etc.). Continuously standing and walking on surface type (s): Carpet, tile, concrete. continuously handling hearing, seeing and repetitive movement using both hands and feet; Ability to work in a variety of temperatures

+ Other: : Ability to present self in a courteous, polite and professional manner; Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service.
