**Job Title:** Lead for Night Shift Production
**Manager Title:** Production Supervisor – Night Shift
**FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt, Full-Time

Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the area working Team Lead ensures the production of company products at the highest level of safety and quality at the lowest possible cost, meeting company performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Ensures that assigned work areas operate in a pro-active safety focused methodology.
+ Follows and maintains proper 5’s practices.
+ Stays in constant communication with the Production Supervisor to remove obstacles, discuss employees’ performance, schedule daily operations, improve processes, procure proper tooling; etc.
+ Works directly with material handlers to coordinate stock levels on the assembly line and keep a constant flow of work within the allocated takt times.
+ Troubleshoots any problems that may arise on the assembly line and follows the correct chain of command to resolve the issues without shutting the line down.
+ Oversees that needed components are available to complete orders on the shop floor.
+ Follows production schedule in assigned work areas to satisfy internal and external customer requirements per date required.
+ Prioritizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments, and directly leads the production of company products at the highest quality, meeting company performance standards, customer specifications and delivery requirements.
+ Provides ongoing performance feedback via area board and daily area meetings. Celebrates successes, addresses complaints and resolves problems.
+ Trains workers to complete work in assigned area.
+ Manages daily area meetings and ensures boards are updated daily.
+ Leads safety toolbox talks.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Experience in hydraulic assembly and troubleshooting issues with assemblies.
+ Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in Final Assembly.
+ Ability to schedule, execute and multitask various assignments.
+ Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.
+ Basic understanding of mathematics as related to the assemblies.
+ Must be able to lead by example, motivate and coach team members up as needed.
+ Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ 3 years mechanical/hydraulic experience preferred.
+ 1-3 years of leadership experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing 50 pounds.
+ Ability to work standing up to 10 hours per day and work O.T when required.
