• Engineering Technician

    ManTech (Crane, IN)


    ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Engineering Technician** to join our team in **Crane, IN.** This is an onsite position.

     

    This role supports the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) legacy workload in troubleshooting and repairing radar legacy systems.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Interpreting and integrating hardware based on drawings, system wiring diagrams, and interface circuit boards

    + Troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

    + Abiding by all Electronic Discharge processes and procedures while handling Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)

    + Soldering to revised printed circuit boards

    + Completing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), High voltage training, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and associated training within first 30 days of employment

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma and 3+ years of relevant engineering and electronic experience OR Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of relevant engineering and electronic experience

    + 1+ years of experience in reading, understanding, and creating technical drawings (schematics) of electrical equipment

    + Must posses a Solder certification per IPC requirements such as IPC J-STD-001 or IPC 7711/7721

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Experience supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane projects

    + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    Clearance Requirements:

    + US Citizenship required and ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Wear steel toed boots daily (provided by employee)

    + Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.

    + Work extensive time in stationary positions

    + Climb and descend ladders
