A private family in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a part-time Housekeeper/Laundress to join their household team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laundry and garment care and be comfortable working as part of a team in a large, high-end residence. This role will support the full-time Housekeeper Lead in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home.

Responsibitlies:

+ Laundry care is the primary focus, including washing, ironing, steaming, folding, and proper storage of fine linens, clothing, and delicate fabrics.

+ Assist with daily and deep cleaning tasks as directed by the full-time Housekeeper Lead.

+ Use appropriate techniques for caring for fine surfaces and specialty materials such as marble, hardwood, and luxury textiles.

+ Coordinate with the household team to ensure seamless and efficient home operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

+ 3-5+ years in a similar role within a private household.

+ Expertise in laundry and garment care, including handling luxury items and delicate fabrics.

+ Familiarity with proper cleaning methods for fine household materials and surfaces.

+ Team player with excellent communication and follow-through.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Authorized to work in the United States.

+ Must pass a comprehensive background check and provide professional references.
