    Job Description

Senior Children and Adolescent In-Home Therapist

The Senior Children and Adolescent In-Home Therapist plays a key leadership role within the Children and Family Treatment Support Services (CFTSS) program, working closely with the Clinical Coordinator to support the overall supervision and management of all Other Licensed Practitioners (OLPs). In addition to providing direct clinical services, the Senior Therapist is responsible for assisting with administrative oversight, quality assurance, and clinical guidance to ensure effective service delivery.

    Administrative & Supervisory Responsibilities:

+ Assist the Clinical Coordinator with the overall supervision and management of OLP staff, ensuring quality service provision.

+ Review assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes submitted by OLPs before final approval by the Clinical Coordinator.

+ Manage OLP caseload assignments, ensuring an appropriate balance of client distribution and service needs.

+ Manage OLP referrals, waitlists and trackers.

+ Provide clinical supervision, case conferencing, and ongoing support to OLPs, helping to enhance clinical effectiveness.

+ Facilitate staff training, consultation, and professional development to ensure compliance with best practices and agency policies.

+ Onboard and train newly hired OLP and CFTSS staff.

+ Support administrative tasks related to OLP services, including tracking documentation compliance and assisting with audits as needed.

    Clinical Responsibilities:

+ Maintain a modified caseload of 10-12 clients, providing individual, family, and group therapy in home and community-based settings.

+ Conduct one-time assessments as needed to support service engagement and treatment planning.

+ Complete comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of children, adolescents, and families.

+ Collaborate with care managers, psychiatrists, school personnel, and other providers to ensure continuity of care and effective treatment coordination.

+ Engage in safety planning and crisis intervention as necessary to ensure client and family well-being.

This role provides a unique blend of clinical practice and leadership, allowing the Senior Therapist to support the development and oversight of OLP services while maintaining direct engagement with youth and families. This position includes some flexibility between in office and remote work.
