    Requirements

    Your responsibilities as a Shop Manager are, but not limited to:

    + Oversee day-to-day operations of mechanics and shop functions across our branch locations

    + Implement and maintain preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability

    + Supervise mechanics and shop personnel, providing guidance and support as needed

    + Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate mechanics, including conducting regular performance reviews and making termination decisions when necessary

    + Use fleet management software to track maintenance, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory

    + Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and ready for operational use

    + Coordinate with branch operations teams to ensure equipment is available when needed

    + Work with vendors and external repair shops to source parts and manage timely repairs

    + Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety within the shop environment

    + Manage shop supplies and part inventories to ensure efficient operations

    + Provide technical input and feedback on equipment performance and maintenance needs

    + Be available to work extended hours during snow events to support winter operations

    You may be a good fit if you:

    + Experience in mechanical repair and shop management of at least three (3) years is required

    + MUST be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid US government state issued Driver's License

    + Has strong knowledge of landscape equipment, vehicles, and preventative maintenance procedures

    + At least 21 years of age, can work Saturdays, extended hours during snow events, and in inclement weather when necessary (required)

    + Have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

    + Are team-oriented with strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively across departments

    + Thrive in a team environment and can foster cooperation among shop personnel

    + Are familiar with shop safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements

    + Possess leadership skills with the ability to supervise, develop, and motivate shop personnel

    + Have experience working with vendors and sourcing parts efficiently

    + Are proficient with maintenance tracking systems and basic computer skills

    + Are articulate in both written and verbal communication skills

    + Able to manage time and workload effectively in a fast-paced environment

    + All job-specific equipment and safety gear provided

     

    Benefits

     

    Salary: $90,000-$120,000 annually (based upon experience)
