AdventHealth Rocky Mountain region is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to support Complex Gynecology and Surgery with a 50/50 split between two outpatient clinics at Porter and Lone Tree, with a primary focus on clinical services in the outpatient setting, but will also include surgical assisting, with occasional inpatient responsibilities and potential call responsibilities in the future. This is a growing Gynecology practice with a collaborative team approach with emphasis on growing the departmental expertise in complex laparoscopic, robotic and hysteroscopic surgery. Delivery of patient care is conducted in collaboration with surgeons including, but not limited to, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment, ordering and interpreting tests, counseling on preventative health, writing prescriptions under administrative guidance and physician supervision. The PA will perform physical examinations of patients, evaluation, and treatment of acute and chronic gynecological conditions within the hospital and clinic setting.

Qualifications

+ Team Player with patient-first mindset

+ 50/50 Split time between Porter and Lone Tree Location

+ Minimum of two years' experience (No new Grads)

+ Surgical experience preferred but not required

+ Women’s health experience preferred but not required

+ Must have completed a master’s Level of an accredited program for Physician Assistant

+ Current, unrestricted full PA license to practice in Colorado

+ Current Colorado DEA Licensure

+ NCCPA Certification

+ American Heart Association certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support)
