    Position Purpose

    Join our expert team in the High-Risk Perinatal Center (HRPC) at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. Our Level IIIB Perinatal Referral Center provides medical-surgical care for high-risk pregnancies—HRPC does not deliver babies but specializes in monitoring and treating complications to protect both mothers and their unborn children. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering expert care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting high-risk pregnancies in a compassionate and technologically advanced environment.

    What You Will Do

    + Provide expert nursing care for high-risk antepartum patients experiencing conditions such as premature labor, hypertension, and diabetes.

    + Collaborate with Labor & Delivery, Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians, Neonatologists, and NICU to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    + Administer magnesium sulfate for pre-term labor, preeclampsia, and newborn neuroprotection.

    + Perform cervical ripening, fetal monitoring, and cervical checks for medically necessary inductions.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + 1 year of Antepartum or Labor & Delivery Nursing

    + Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.

    + BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional Life Support training as applicable to unit requirements.

    + Graduation from an accredited nursing program; associate's nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred.

    **Pay rate:** $37.88 - $54.19

     

    Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
