• Accounting Summer Intern

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our accounting. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations. The intern will assist with day-to-day tasks, including data entry, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and other administrative duties.

     

    This internship starts on June 2nd and will run for at least 10 weeks.

     

    This is a fully onsite internship located at our corporate campus in Midtown Phoenix.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements

    + Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records

    + Reconcile bank statements and ledger entries

    + Support the month-end and year-end close processes

    + Organize and maintain financial files and documentation

    + Perform other administrative and clerical tasks as needed

    Requirements:

    + Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    + Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

    + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Previous internship or coursework in accounting or finance

    + Familiarity with GAAP and other accounting standards

    Schedule:

    + Part-time or full-time; duration and hours flexible based on academic schedule
