    JOB TITLE: CDL Driver

    JOB TYPE

    + Full Time

    JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Perform daily routes depending on the weekly schedule determined by manager.

    + Operate a CDL trailer to deliver commercial tires/wheels as well as other items to customers.

    + Must maintain a safe and clean driving record.

    + Responsible for executing client delivery schedules, proper loading and unloading, and obtaining signed paperwork.

    + Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment inventory levels on tractor-trailer and on person.

    + Effectively communicate any traffic violations, accidents, breakdowns, or delays in route to management and customers.

    + Conduct pre and post trip inspections, to ensure that all mechanical systems are operating properly.

    + Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the changes are correct.

    + Maintain safe procedures while operating a company vehicle.

    + Must follow and comply with all DOT regulations.

    + Assist in loading and unloading the product on the trucks.

    + Ensures deliveries are timely.

    + Adheres to McCarthy Tire Service policies and standards.

    + Must have excellent driving aptitude for both manual and automatic vehicles.

    + Learn and maintain all PM’s and ensure daily performance check on vehicle.

    + Monday thru Friday schedule.

    OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Other duties can and will arise, and the candidate should be prepared to take on these challenges openly.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    + High School degree or GED.

    REQUIREMENTS

    + At least 1 year of delivery driving experience within the last 3 years.

    + Class A license.

    + Valid driver’s license.

    + Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, and pass the DOT physical.

    + Flexibility in schedule.

    + Minimum 21 years of age.

    + Lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
