    Summary:

    At Reality Labs (RL), our goal is to explore, innovate and design novel interfaces and hardware subsystems for the next generation of virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. We are looking for an attorney based in the United States with experience in the prescription eyewear market, specifically in working with optical stores/sales locations, insurance companies on sales-related initiatives, and marketing claims related to prescription eyewear. In this role, you will provide strategic and day-to-day support to enable launch, marketing, and sales of various hardware products and related services.

    Required Skills:

    Lead Counsel, Sales, Reality Labs Responsibilities:

    1. Advise clients on sales and marketing requirements for prescription eyewear in first party and third party sales environments

    2. Work with insurance providers as needed for prescription eyewear solutions that span sales channels

    3. Work effectively with a diverse, cross-functional group of attorneys and regulatory leaders

    4. Draft and negotiate various types of agreements

    Minimum Qualifications:

    5. Meta requires all employed attorneys to have a law degree or equivalent certificate to permit the practice of law and be appropriately licensed and authorized to practice law for the company in their assigned work location. Unless prohibited under local law, an attorney must hold a current practicing certificate (including where required from the relevant authority in the jurisdiction of the assigned work location) or the local law equivalent bar registration or license as may be applicable.

    6. 5+ years of combined law firm, chambers or in-house experience

    7. Experience with prescription eyewear sales and/or marketing, either within a medical device company, eyewear sales company, insurance company, or other related organization

    8. Experience drafting and negotiating contracts

    9. Experience in retail sales, distribution, and direct to consumer sales risks

    10. Experience translating complex legal advice into actionable guidance

    11. Experience reviewing marketing assets and counseling clients on how to optimize risk

    12. Be interested in the future of virtual reality, mixed reality, and augmented reality especially as it pertains to eyewear

    Public Compensation:

    $167,000/year to $233,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
