    Assesses and evaluates assigned patients. Conducts individual, family and/or group therapy. Functions as a primary contact for treatment and discharge planning. Promotes implementation of therapeutic milieu and daily program schedule. Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility policies and procedures. Communicates effectively with the treatment team to ensure safe, quality care is provided to all patients. Supervises social workers on the unit.

    Reports to Director of Behavioral Health

    *Minimum Education*

    Required Education:

    Master's degree Required

    Other: Licensed Clinical Social Worker minimum 3 years providing care in mental health and/or substance abuse. Minimum 2 years of supervisor experience.

    1. Data Entry using Electronic Medical Record

    2. Team player

    3. Ability to handle a high-stress environment

    4. Ability to communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of the patients on the behavioral health unit.

    Required License/Certifications:

    Licensed to practice as a clinical social worker.

    BLS required, or obtained during the first week of hire

    Handle with Care required within 30 days of hire.
