    Description

    Our client is searching for a bilingual Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team within the Automotive industry based in North Houston, Texas. The role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be tasked with processing invoices, data entry, and maintaining accurate customer records. The hours are 9-6 Monday-Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage the processing of 250-300 invoices on a weekly basis using Sage.

    • Responsible for receiving invoices and entering data into the system.

    • Handle coding of invoices and dispatching them for approval.

    • Carry out check runs as part of the role.

    • Ensure customer credit records are accurate and up to date.

    • Resolve customer inquiries and monitor customer accounts.

    • Use Microsoft Excel for various tasks and report generation.

    • Occasionally work on Saturdays to ensure smooth operations.

    Requirements

    • Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.

    • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) is required.

    • Experience in check runs and coding invoices is essential.

    • Must exhibit strong data entry skills.

    • Proficiency in invoice processing is necessary.

    • Candidates should be adept at using Microsoft Excel.

    • Experience with Sage accounting software is a significant plus.
