    Role: Paralegal - Full-Time

     

    Salary: DOE up to $70K

    Our client is hiring an experienced Family Law Paralegal in Arlington, VA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Thoroughly coordinate and manage document production tasks, which includes the issuance of subpoenas.

    • Address and rectify any deficiencies in responses by creating deficiency letters and drafting necessary motions to compel.

    • Contribute to all stages of litigation, including monitoring deadlines, managing court filings, and assisting in preparing for depositions, trial, and settlement/mediation.

    • Draft and prepare pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery requests and responses in an accurate and timely manner.

    • Carry out the process of preparing exhibit binders and other materials needed for trial preparation.

    Requirements

    •Applicant must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Law Paralegal or Legal Assistant

    •Applicant ideally has experience with Virginia family law cases, contested and uncontested

    •Applicant ideally has experience with preparing court filings and submitting documents to courthouses in Northern Virginia
