    1st Shift - Monday-Friday: 7 am-3:30 pm

     

    Eligible for quarterly bonuses

    What You’ll Do

     

    As a CNC Operator, you’ll be part of our Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing team located in Berea, OH.

     

    + Reads and interprets work instructions, prints, and job order for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions

    + With assistance, troubleshoots, edits, and optimizes new production programs to ensure efficient overall production

    + Calculates and sets machine controls to specific work orders and regulate factors such as cutting depth, speed, feed and coolant flow

    + Document new program changes and processes to ensure setups can be duplicated and overall production time is optimized

    + Observes operation of machine and verifies conformance of machined work piece to specifications, using measuring instruments, such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers

    + Deburr parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications

    + Follow all safety policies and procedures

    + Setup machines on a flexible basis to ensure optimum output throughout the shop

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    + Education and Experience: 1-3 years’ experience as CNC mill/lathe operator preferred

    + Experience verifying dimensions of parts, using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, depth gauges, and / or fixed gauges

    + Basic computer skills

    + Ability to perform basic math

    + Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    + Flexibility in work assignments

    + Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking

    + Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily

    + Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 70 lbs. with assistance

    + Must be able to work daily and weekly overtime as required

    + Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
