A Certified Respiratory Therapist at Munson Healthcare is responsible for assessing patients by systematically collecting and prioritizing health data, developing individualized care plans using approved protocols, and implementing therapies safely and effectively. The role involves ongoing evaluation and adjustment of care based on patient response, as well as documentation throughout all phases. Therapists deliver a wide range of respiratory treatments, conduct monitoring procedures, and provide emergency airway management, including participation on Code Blue teams. They are expected to uphold high standards of professional performance by engaging in quality improvement, maintaining competencies, supporting education, and practicing ethically and collaboratively.

What’s Required:

Experience/Education

+ Licensed Respiratory Therapist - Currently licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Michigan

+ Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)

+ Clinical exposure experience to all aspects of pediatric, and adult respiratory care
