    Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Medical Laboratory Technician** to work at a facility in **Tacoma, WA.** These are _registry_ positions with our company.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $36 / hour

    *W2

     

    Shift: Nights(full time), **IMMEDIATE NEED FOR OVERNIGHT SHIFT**

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Perform a full range of clinical laboratory tests in any one or a combination of the following sections of the laboratory: hematology, chemistry, cytology, histotechnology, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, phlebotomy or transfusion and blood bank

    + Heavy Phlebotomy while assisting in the PSS lab during PCS season

    + Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure that the physiologic state of the properties is maintained

    + Calibrate, standardize, adjust, and maintain instruments

    + Verify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks

    Qualifications

    + Laboratory Technician Certification

    + ASCP Certification or AMT Certification

    + 6 months of experience rotation through all sections of a medical laboratory

    + Must be team oriented and willing to assist in other labs as needed

    + BLS - Basic Life Support

    + NACI background check

    + Must be a U.S. citizen
