    We’re looking for a hands-on, dependable **Facilities Maintenance Field Technician** to support multiple commercial facilities in and around **Binghamton, NY** . If you're skilled in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or general building maintenance—and enjoy getting out into the field—this opportunity might be the perfect fit.

     

    We’ll provide the truck, gas card, and tools you need. You bring the know-how and motivation to keep systems operating at their best.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems

    + Travel between multiple facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operations

    + Troubleshoot and repair equipment, document readings, and make necessary adjustments

    + Clean, calibrate, and inspect HVAC and associated systems for peak performance

    + Oversee inventory, equipment upkeep, and vendor work when needed

    + Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with facility standards

    + Keep the workplace—and the facilities—clean, safe, and running smoothly

    What You Bring:

    + 5–7 years of commercial maintenance or building systems experience

    + Strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical trades

    + High school diploma or GED (required)

    + **EPA 608 Type II Certification (required)**

    + Valid driver’s license (you’ll be on the road between sites)

    + Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, CMMS platforms)

    + A self-motivated attitude and ability to work independently

    Even Better If You Have:

    + **EPA 608 Universal Certification**

    + Two years of formal trades school or apprenticeship (HVAC, electrical, refrigeration)
