    PeaceHealth Rehab & Wellness Clinic in Florence, Oregon is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Full Time, 0.90 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $43.03 – $64.55. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

    Join our team of 17 friendly therapists where we have a supportive and collaborative team who values integrity and best practice patient care. Our staff is supported by the organization with continuing education and knowledge sharing via other clinics within Oregon.

     

    We deliver rehabilitation services to a diverse outpatient caseload; we also provide care to inpatients in our 21 bed Critical Access Hospital! We also have a Swing bed rehab program within the hospital, served by a dynamic interdisciplinary team.

     

    Our spacious remodeled gym is furnished with newer equipment, including electric mat tables, powered parallel bars, and Sci-fit bikes. We also have a dynamic vestibular program utilizing the RealEyes xDVR Video Goggles. Each therapist has their own computer-on-wheels to document at point of service.

    Job Summary

    Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients within the scope of Occupational Therapy, determining plan of care and setting goals of treatment. May provide oversight to therapy assistants, therapy aides and/or students in following the plan-of-care and treatment of patients. Works collaboratively as a part of a patient care team toward the best outcomes for patients.

    What you will do:

    + Evaluates assigned patients and establishes a treatment plan and goals, using data from a variety of sources, such as patient records, interviews, observation and team members.

    + Completes patient treatment according to plan of care and modifies plan to meet patient needs, and updates plan as appropriate.

    + Completes documentation accurately, timely, according to regulatory and state licensure requirements, and within professional standards.

    + Collaborates with other healthcare professionals as necessary to ensure smooth continuous care of the patients. May act as a liaison with nursing, medical and other therapy staffs to facilitate problem solving and coordination of other services and act as an educational resource.

    + May mentor and provide oversight to new caregivers, occupational therapy assistants, and/or therapy aides. May provide clinical instruction and training to students.

    + May recommend and participate in development of new services and programs, quality improvement and monitoring activities.

    + Maintains appropriate clinical records.

    + May work with OT student affiliation programs.

    What you bring:

    + Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate Degree Required: Occupational Therapy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education

    + Preferred: Previous experience as a registered Occupational Therapist.

    + Required: Occupational Therapist License State of Oregon

    + Required Upon Hire: Basic Life Support
