    Accounting Manager – Nonprofit Sector (Grant Accounting & Compliance Specialist)

     

    Join a mission-driven nonprofit making a real difference! We are looking for a highly skilled Accounting Manager with grant accounting and compliance expertise to lead financial operations and help ensure grant fund utilization aligns with donor and regulatory requirements.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Oversee grant accounting processes, including CFDA tracking, Federal Cash Status Reports (FCSA), and Federal Financial Reports (FFR).

    + Ensure compliance with UGMS and CFR 200, as well as nonprofit accounting standards (GAAP).

    + Prepare budgets, financial reports, and support audit processes.

    + Lead and mentor accounting staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.

    What You Bring:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).

    + Must-Have Knowledge: CFDA, FCSA, FFR, UGMS, CFR 200. (If you don’t know these, this role isn’t a fit.)

    + 5-7 years accounting experience, including 3+ years managing grant accounting and nonprofit compliance.

    + Strong organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
