About the role

Our Rochester, MN location is part of our Applied Health and Nutrition Division and specializes in fermented ingredients for products related to the bio-science industry. Our team isproud of the work they do and have a focus on clean label or natural products ensuring freshness.

Day shift rotating- 4:45 AM to 5:15 PM

$20.75/hr.

The typical hiring wage for this role is $ 20.75 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. Key responsibilities

Stages and blends ingredients, packages products, and COPs all blending and packaging equipment during scheduled cleaning periods. Follows established procedures to achieve QC approved products.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Performs daily set up, cleaning and operation of powders packaging, cultures packaging, and liquid packaging equipment.

+ Performs daily HACCP checks for packaging equipment, (screen checks, metal detector, and tool check list) and understands the important of this checklist.

+ Issues and receipts materials in SAP.

+ Washes and cleans equipment per the sanitation manual. Follows GMP program and rules.

+ Operates forklift per training procedures.

+ All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills

+ High School graduate or equivalent required

+ Manufacturing/maintenance experience preferred.

+ Must have the ability to work alone and in close cooperation with production personnel.

+ Capable of working through complex problems alone or with others to provide logical solutions.
