    The Lead Radiologic Technologist performs leadership duties associated with the daily operations of the Radiology department.

    Exceptional Skills

    + Assist with planning and issuing a staff work schedule.

    + Serves as a department preceptor and orientation coordinator.

    + Serves as a department resource person and liaison with ancillary departments.

    + Facilitates the needed training for new equipment.

    + Oversees the quality and completeness of all imaging procedures.

    + Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring.

    + Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items and patient monitoring devices.

    + Ability to build, motivate, and lead a high performing team.

    Qualifications

    + Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology (required)

    + Required CertIfications/Licensures: Radiologic Technologist by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA), Certified Radiography (R)(ARRT))

    + 2+ years Radiology clinical experience (required)

    + 1+ years Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)
