Make a Difference
The Supervisor of Patient Accounts for Community Home Medical Equipment (CHME) will manage daily operations of the registration/intake and qualification team. This role is responsible for overlooking the team’s productivity, collaborating with various network leaders, handling escalations, assisting staff members with training, scheduling, and processing time off requests, along with other duties assigned. The Supervisor of Patient Accounts will work in a fast-paced work environment to meet department goals and initiatives.
Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.
+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
+ Four (4) years of recent experience in a Revenue Cycle environment, preferably with Home Medical Equipment (HME) with a working knowledge of billing requirements and reimbursement.
+ Previous supervisory experience in a customer service setting strongly preferred.
+ Previous leadership experience in Durable Medical Equipment/Home Medical Equipment (DME/HME) strongly preferred.
+ Knowledge of medical/insurance billing, payors and plans preferred.
+ Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience in Brightree and/or Epic strongly preferred.
+ Ability to lead and supervise.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
+ This position will participate in an on-call rotation.
+ This position will be a hybrid role if you reside within central Indiana. Hybrid expectations include in-person meetings and as needed per business needs.
+ This position will allow the flexibility to work remotely if you reside outside of Indiana. Community caregivers performing work remotely are permitted to live in the following states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, and Texas. Caregivers are not allowed to perform work remotely outside of the above states. Applicants from other states may apply; however, if hired, they will be required to relocate to one of the above states within 60 days of their employment date.
