We are seeking a **POOL Chaplain Catholic Priest** who will serve patients, families, and team members at ST. Anthony's Hospital, a community hospital in ST. Petersburg, FL.

    Position details:

    + **Location:** ST. Petersburg

    + ST. Anthony's Hospital

    + **Status:** POOL, Hourly

    + **Shift Hours:** Varies

    + **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    + **On Call:** Yes

     

    The Chaplain - Catholic Priest is a full clinical member of the health care team in Spiritual Care issues, providing services for the pastoral/spiritual needs and education of patients, families, team members.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Provides services for the pastoral/spiritual needs of patients, families, and staff members.

    + Knowledgeable in theology, spirituality, and pastoral care.

    + Catholic Priest chaplains must have Faculty for Sacraments from the Local Ordinary of the Roman Catholic Diocese/Archdiocese.

    Certification:

    + Preferred NAJC (National Association of Jewish Chaplains)

    + or APC (Association of Professional Chaplains)

    + or NACC (National Association of Catholic Chaplains)

    Required Education:

    + Bachelor's Degree from and Accredited University in Theology Related. 400 hours, 1unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.

     

    Required - Ecclesiastical endorsement

    Experience:

    + Pastoral
