    **Job Title:** Senior QA Analyst – Managed Accounts

    **Location:** St Louis, MO or Charlotte NC

    **Job Type:** Contract

    **Duration:** 1 year

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking an experienced **Senior QA Analyst** to support a high-profile initiative. This initiative will allow Financial Advisors (FAs) to integrate their own models with external investment strategies to manage client assets more effectively. The role will focus on **testing development work done by our vendor, and internal applications/processes** to ensure high-quality code and minimal risk.

     

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in **SMA/UMA/Managed Account platforms** and expertise in **test strategy development, execution, and defect management** . Experience with **APL, Fiserv, and InvestCloud** is preferred.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop, prioritize, and execute **test plans, test cases, and test scripts** for managed account technology solutions.

    + Identify, document, manage, and resolve defects in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

    + Partner with **technology, operations, and business teams** to define and implement the testing strategy, ensuring robust coverage and high-quality delivery.

    + Provide structured **status updates** and insights on testing progress, risks, and defect resolution to leadership.

    + Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring testing timelines and deliverables are met.

    + Assist in creating documentation, training materials, and other project-related artifacts as needed.

    + Support strategic initiatives around **risk mitigation, efficiency improvements, and customer experience** within the Managed Accounts space.

    Required Qualifications:

    + **4+ years** of experience in **Quality Assurance, Business Operations, Management Consulting, or Strategy Consulting** with a focus on investment/wealth management platforms.

    + Hands-on experience with **testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test automation** (where applicable).

    + Strong knowledge of **SMA/UMA/Managed Accounts** , including portfolio management and advisory platforms.

    + Experience with industry platforms such as **APL, Fiserv, and InvestCloud** is preferred.

    + Ability to work cross-functionally with **technology, product, and business stakeholders** .

    + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a structured approach to problem-solving.

    + Excellent communication and reporting skills to provide clear status updates and risk assessments.
